The room had dirty sheets covered in stains, a bad-smelling blanket, and a bathroom with a dirty toilet seat and hair all over the floor. Mosquitoes and insects were flying around. A number posted behind the door for room service belonged to someone who said he no longer worked there. In the morning, I asked for warm water and was handed a very dirty electric kettle with a plastic glass. When we left, the staff stared at us. I wouldn’t consider this place safe for a woman traveling alone. We reached at 1:30 AM in the first week of January, after informing them ahead of time, but nobody was at the gate. There wasn’t even a doorbell, and no one answered the phone. My friends had to climb over the gate to wake the staff, who still showed no courtesy. The worst property ever. Don’t be tempted by the low prices.

I never expected this from OYO, and after this experience I’m deleting the app. Twice in one month, they gave me misleading hotel location information, leaving me to struggle and travel long distances in a new city. Hotels either refuse the booking or change it to suit themselves, and we have no choice but to accept. The listed amenities also aren’t there, like Wi-Fi. Their representatives misstate things to get the booking. The worst experience.

Don’t stay here with family or kids. It’s a wedding garden with rude staff who don’t know hotel management. The Google Maps location was wrong, and OYO and Agoda staff gave no support after booking. At 9 PM, hotel staff were asleep and made us wait a full hour, saying there was no booking. They only let us check in as we were leaving. There were no towels, mosquitoes everywhere, power cuts, dirty mattresses, terrible washrooms, and intimidating staff. In the morning, while we were checking out, the owner was smoking inside reception.

On the way to Vrindavan, I waited outside the hotel gate for an hour, but nobody opened it. They either had no rooms or were charging very high rates, so I had to go back to Delhi. Their irresponsible behavior made the whole trip difficult to manage. I’d ask people not to stay at OYO or related hotels.
