Hotel Mayo

Hotel Mayo, Wayanad was a reasonable budget option for a short stay, and the convenient location made it easy to travel around Wayanad. The rooms were spacious and clean, and polite staff made check-in and basic services smooth. Still, the experience was only average. The food was okay, some facilities felt outdated, and there were minor maintenance and ambience issues that could be improved.

We booked the hotel for a family trip to Wayanad. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, and the facilities were nice. The only drawback was that there’s no lift. Our room was on the basement floor, which caused a little discomfort for my mother, who has spondylosis. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

I visited Hotel Mayo in Meenangadi with friends and family. The food they provided was good and tasty, and the attentive service and clean, spacious rooms made for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay. Its location is convenient for exploring Wayanad, including nearby places like Phantom Rock, Karapuzha Dam - Adventure Park & Garden, and Edakal caves. It’s a great choice for value and convenience. Since there’s also a bar attached, parking gets a little crowded, but that didn’t affect us.

I accidentally put one person instead of two when booking. They were providing a double room with a queen bed, but charged Rs.619 when I asked to add another person, and didn't give me a PROPER BILL. I checked Agoda's rate for two people and it was only 100 rs extra. They still charged me for an extra bed that wasn't needed. I could understand that price if it were for breakfast, but the bill said HALL BOOKING ADVANCE.
