A tip if you're heading there: download offline maps first, since phone signal can be patchy on the way. We had a lovely peaceful getaway, with a great view, activities, clean surroundings, reliable Wi-Fi, and delicious food. Service and amenities made us very happy, and the staff were well trained. Thanks especially to Teju, Nitin, Malinga, Anil, and the rest of the resort team for their hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

The rooms at Gudlu Resort are roomy, comfortable, and nicely designed, with lots of open space around them. It overlooks a peaceful lake, which made the stay feel restful. We could cycle around the grounds, go boating, pedal boating, or kayaking, and they also set up campfires. The pleasant weather and scenery made those evenings especially nice. Mr. Rijesh and the rest of the team were wonderful, room service was prompt, and the food was very good. It was a refreshing visit, and I'd recommend it for a quiet stay.

The lake was a lovely feature, and we enjoyed water cycling, pedal boating, and kayaking. The meals were another highlight, all fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Our stay at Gudlu Resort felt relaxed and well managed from beginning to end. Staff Bhima and Teja were especially attentive and friendly, making sure we were comfortable. Thanks to everyone there for a memorable visit. We hope to return.

Gudlu Resort is around 8 km from Devaramane View Point, but there's plenty to do without leaving the property. We went cycling, boating, kayaking, and pedal boating, took an early morning trek to a nearby hill and walked by the river. They can also arrange a jeep trip to a nearby waterfall for a swim and a rest. The fire camp made the evenings lively and special. The food selection was excellent, with something for different tastes. What stays with me most is the peaceful setting, with a lake and flowing stream beside the well-kept property. Rijesh, Bhima, the dining hall staff member whose name I can't recall, and the whole Gudlu team were warm and eager to help. It was a lovely, restorative holiday in Chikmagalur.
