There’s no lift, so you have to haul your luggage up the stairs. The room is only a little bigger than a bed, and the cupboards smelled bad. The bedsheet gave me itchy rashes and red bumps. The toilet and shower are squeezed into the same one-metre space, and the bathroom ceiling edges are taped. Even the ceiling fan is basically a table fan fixed overhead. It feels like a broken structure held up by rods, not a hotel. They don’t provide a contact number to call before booking either. I’d never consider this place.

The staff were very humble, especially Md Salman and the manager chand. The hotel is also close to Mumbai University and Kalina Market. It’s a good place with good service if you’re looking for a room on a low budget. 😍😇

We were charged 1,400 rupees for a really awful stay, and I’m not going back. Unmarried couples aren’t allowed, and I had to show my marriage certificate to prove I was with my husband and brother. The room was tiny, had no ventilation or attached bathroom, and the shared toilet was worse than a public one. We booked for three people late at night, but the extra mattress was dusty and they didn’t give us an extra bedsheet or pillow even after we asked. I’d spend a bit more for a better hotel.

One BKC is in Bandra Kurla Complex, a prominent central business district in Mumbai. The area has changed considerably over the years and has become a sought-after residential area as well as a major business hub. Well-known businesses there include the National Stock Exchange, Citibank, Amazon and Spotify. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes and other amenities.
