It felt homely, and the place was neat and clean. The staff were helpful. I’d recommend it to everyone!

The location is great and breakfast was decent. The rooms were clean, and most of the staff were good, though one receptionist with a vision/eye issue was rude. I was first given a room that was already occupied, which raised a safety concern, and I didn’t get the window room I’d requested in advance. The rooms are fairly small. Also, don’t use the hotel towels, as they clean the toilet seats and washroom with them. The rooms aren’t soundproof, and people can hear what you say outside. Each room has a window facing the central passage, with wooden ribs that let someone outside see into the room. Be careful with the curtains, even a draft could move them. You can see this in one of my attached photos, of the window (5/6). I wouldn’t recommend it for couples, though it’s fine for single male occupants.

I stayed for almost six days. The rooms are very cramped and smaller than they look in the pictures. Everything else was okay, but the room service needs work, and there wasn’t a kettle in the room. The rooms aren’t soundproof either. The person next door kept slamming a faulty door late at night for about three or four days. I told the staff, and they tried to fix it but couldn’t. I didn’t sleep for three nights.
