Garden Creek Residency

The staff were very helpful during my two-day stay, but the food is quite expensive, so it's better to get food and water from outside. On the first day, the bedsheet was dirty and the pillow wasn't in good condition. The charging point also didn't work properly, which made charging our phones difficult.

Garden Creek Residency, Andheri East, can't be trusted. Yesterday a receptionist clearly confirmed ₹1500 for a short stay, and I have voice proof. But when we arrived this morning, a different receptionist, Karan, refused to honor the agreed rate and timing, even after I showed him the WhatsApp messages and voice note. He demanded more money instead. This is blatant cheating and misrepresentation. It tarnishes Mumbai's reputation for honesty and hospitality. Avoid this hotel at all costs. We're also considering filing a police complaint.

I booked and paid in advance because the online photos looked good, the reviews seemed fine, and the place was near the airport. When I arrived, the room was awful. It smelled of smoke, including the washroom. Wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom mirror door was broken, the bed was bigger than the mattress, and the quilt was dirty. Who knows what else was wrong. I had an early flight and told the person at reception I couldn't sleep there. He said they'd clean it, but I asked for a different room since that wasn't what I'd paid for or what the photos showed. He tried to justify it by saying there were standard rooms and this was one of them. I told him they should post that picture instead of misleading people. After half an hour he gave me another room. At first it smelled fine because they'd used a strong room freshener, but after an hour the same problem came back. My sleep was completely ruined. Visit at your own risk. I'll never stay there again. Pathetic place.

The photos are misleading. The rooms I stayed in had no windows, looked like a dungeon, and absolutely stank. The pillows were black with mould and the duvet was dirty. I paid 3000 rupees for one night, far too much for the room quality. I don't recommend staying here.
