OYO Townhouse 21 Bombay Exhibition Centre

I paid ₹8,000 per night expecting a comfortable, decent business stay, and was very disappointed. At about 12:30 AM there was nobody to help with luggage. That was manageable, but when I asked whether there were towels, I was told none were available because of a shortage. I had a 9 AM meeting and asked if I could get them in the morning, but was told not before 11 AM. The staff casually said I could cancel if I wasn't comfortable. It was so late that finding another hotel was difficult, so I had to stay. The room and building were in poor shape. The lift was dirty and its display panel damaged, and the 10th floor felt uncomfortable and poorly kept. The room smelled bad and wasn't clean. Curtains were damaged and hanging improperly, plugs and fittings were broken, the washroom was unhygienic, and the only bucket was in such bad condition it couldn't be used. The door lock also felt unsafe, as though it had been tampered with before. Breakfast, which was included, was another letdown: cold poha, very poor tea, low-quality egg bhurji, and hardly any choice. This place doesn't come close to justifying its price. It feels more like a low-grade hourly stay hotel than a proper business hotel. I strongly don't recommend it. Avoid booking at all costs.

The photos on booking sites don't match how this place looks, and the conditions were unacceptable. My bedsheets and pillows were dirty, and there were bedbugs. When I asked staff to change the sheets, they refused, saying there was a shortage. I pointed out that I'd paid for the room in full, but they just told me to make a complaint. The property was unclean and the service terrible. There wasn't even a chair in my room, and after I requested one it took over five hours to arrive. Staff were unprofessional. Don't go there.

The location was quite good, but the rest of my stay was awful. The hotel restaurant serves non-vegetarian food; vegetarian options are available, but the kitchen is mixed. The amenities and service weren't good, and the staff were unprofessional. The stairs and lifts were filthy. There was dirt, garbage, and spat-out pan masala stains on the stairs. They seem focused on how the outside looks, while the inside was very dirty and bad. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures on (@MMT) Make my trip or Google. They claim to be 3 star, but from my experience it was more like 1 or 2 star. For the price, the service, rooms, and other things aren't worth it. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in, and they don't provide a cancellation process.

The website pictures look good, but the hotel itself is in very bad condition. I stayed for four days and couldn't make time to move, so I somehow managed. The service was poor, the staff were unprofessional, and they had no answers to my questions. The phone in the room and the reception phone didn't work, neither did the bathroom taps, and there was no water in the bathroom. The black water smelled and seemed dangerous to health. Drinking water took 40 minutes to arrive after repeated calls. A really bad stay. My advice: don't stay here.
