The rooms are the main variable here. Some are tiny, while a few are much larger, and the staff moved us to better-sized rooms based on our bookings. They were generally clean, and housekeeping did a good job. The decor makes the limited space work well, the lighting was decent, and the AC worked as expected. The larger rooms overlook an ordinary suburban view. Which room you get seems to depend on the booking partner. We found the hotel handy for the Santa Cruz station and airport, with restaurants and sightseeing spots nearby or easy to reach. Autos and Uber/OLA taxis were easy to find, although the road outside gets congested. It's a budget hotel, and space is tight, as it is elsewhere in Mumbai. Our group check-in went smoothly, but took longer than expected. It might be quicker if reception could collect everyone's address-bearing ID cards together. Staff were friendly, professional, and fairly prompt. The in-house kitchen serves tea, coffee, and breakfast when included. The food tasted good, though we would have liked it spicier, and portions felt small. Extra servings cost more, which the hotel should look at. Children under five could share a bed with their parents without an extra charge, but breakfast for them was still chargeable. That surprised us, since at places we've stayed in North and South India, packages generally include breakfast for up to two children. We accepted the hotel's policy and paid, perhaps that's how it works in Mumbai. We had a good stay and would recommend it to budget travelers.

I was in Mumbai on business and spent one night at Golden Swan. The room was roomy, clean, and tidy, and even though the bathroom was a little small, it was clean too. The staff were helpful and very courteous. I had a comfortable stay and felt it was good value for money. Thanks!

The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, good facilities, and a convenient spot near the national highway. Everything seemed comfortable and quite good apart from the price discussion. I already had an OYO booking, but asked reception what they would charge directly for one couple's room and one single room. They quoted 3500 for the couple and 2500 for the single. I got both rooms through OYO for 3400, so check app prices before asking for a direct rate.

The staff made the stay for me, especially Mr. Papanna, who was caring, humble, and so polite. I ordered room service several times and the food was good, freshly prepared each time. Even at 0100, they asked if I wanted something, and the veg biryani I ordered was fresh, tasty, and a generous portion. I came by train for a two-day visit and arrived very late at night. The receptionist was polite on the phone and in person, and check-in was hassle-free. The room was certainly small, but big enough for one person. The washroom was clean and well maintained. A nice place for a solo stay. Thanks for having me, keep up the good work!
