Hotel Al Haram By OYO Rooms

The view of Mohammad Ali Street was nice, and the location made it easy to reach restaurants and shops. The room had decent AC, a luggage cupboard, and a shower with good water pressure, but there was no water provided. You have to fill your own bottle from a hotel tap. The extra mattress I’d booked didn’t arrive until after 11 PM, despite repeated requests. They said they were waiting for the night-shift room boy to finish dinner, as it seemed to be a job only for night staff. When it finally came, it wasn’t properly made up and was hard and uncomfortable. The toilet was really unpleasant too: a used sanitary pad in the bin, and stains on both the seat and commode. The room itself was spacious compared with nearby hotels, but the price is higher, and the service and cleanliness made the stay a letdown.

The service is awful, and the hotel isn’t clean at all.

Getting around, finding food, shopping, and traveling are all convenient from this Mumbai location. The hotel is very clean by comparison with others, and the rooms, bathrooms, and AC are all well kept and working properly. It is a bit expensive, though. If you’re willing to spend more than usual, it’s a place to try next time you’re in Mumbai.

There are lots of fruit sellers outside, and the rooms end up full of houseflies. I also saw holes in the ceiling, and rats may be around and could bite you if you’re unlucky. When we complained, staff sometimes came in and only sprayed. This is a really poor hotel.
