Hotel Bkc Annex Near Trade Center

We booked this because the place we were visiting was only about eight minutes away, but the room really needs improvement, even for a one-night stay. There was no parking, and cleanliness was poor: scratches on the TV, dust behind the table, and spider webs. The toilet door lock didn't work properly, and there was no water when we checked in until staff turned on the motor. Room food service was just okay, not up to the mark, though the tea was good. The reception phone wasn't available; staff said the police had taken all the room phones. Reception staff were supportive, but overall the service was the worst.

It's not a great or very clean place, but the staff were extremely helpful. I overpaid for something, and they came to tell me I'd paid too much. The service is nice, and it's good if you're traveling on a budget.

The area around the hotel is dirty, and there isn't even a breakfast option. The manager here is not cooperative at all, so I wouldn't recommend staying here.

There were lots of mosquitoes, and the tap water wasn't clean. It came out black, with what looked like coal or dusty particles in it. There was also a strong smell of cigarettes and alcohol. Don't judge only by the room when booking, look at the area too. We booked blindly after seeing the room, but the road outside is like a scrap yard, with repair parts stores. Book with caution.
