Hotel Embassy Grand

The service was slow and didn’t make the stay any better. Even the shared areas looked poorly lit and below average for cleanliness and upkeep. What bothered me most was how far the real place fell short of the online photos: the room was smaller than it appeared, with dated decor, and the overall look didn’t match the listing. My room also felt unmaintained, with worn furniture and sheets, and a bathroom that needed more cleaning. For the price, I don’t think Hotel Embassy Grand is worth it. It seems to rely on polished pictures instead of delivering the quality they suggest.

I booked this for the location, and it did serve that purpose, but the quality was nowhere near what the photos promised. The room change I requested was promised, then forgotten. I was in a hurry to catch my Uber, and the front desk person was pressuring me to leave a review, so I had to edit what I’d written here. The cupboard had a mouldy pillow and a dirty spare bed. Hot water may be an issue, too. There were rats and cockroaches, and the toilets were so bad I wouldn’t want to bathe there. The rooms need a serious deep clean.

The stay was comfortable and everything seemed clean and well managed. The staff were kind, polite, and quick to help. I had a great time here and would happily return.

There’s no window in the room, and when the lights go out it gets very dark. The service wasn’t proper either. The room smelled awful, and the spray they used to cover it smelled bad too. It was nothing like the photos. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
