Cockroaches were all over the room and bathroom. When I asked them to clean, they only sprayed the bathroom and left. The room smelled horrible, the passages smelled of cigarettes, and the staff were very unhelpful. Towels came only after asking, and no other amenities were provided. They acted as though room service was a favor and wouldn’t admit fault. The dirt, mould and limescale were obvious, but all they said was, “It looks like that.” They hadn’t even properly cleaned the room before I arrived. Their review replies are the same copy-pasted message, while multiple five-star reviews have lifted the average to four stars despite all the complaints about cockroaches and dirt.

The room smelled bad when I walked in, and the staff were unfriendly. There were many cockroaches in the bathroom, the floor was dirty, and they changed my room on a whim. You have to get your own water bottles, tissue rolls and shampoo.

There was no ventilation, and the room smelled so bad that I had to buy room spray and air freshener from outside. It was also full of cockroaches, which made the stay uncomfortable and unhygienic. I really can’t recommend Hotel Golden Park.

The smell was awful, including from the bed, and cockroaches were everywhere. The hallway was just as bad. It was an unhygienic place, and one of the worst hotels I’ve booked. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The water barely flowed from the taps or washbasin, and the towels were old and shabby. Baby cockroaches were crawling around the room too. The room smelled, and even after the staff gave us two air freshener sachets, the smell stayed. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. We complained in the first hour of the first day, but they never fixed it during our two-day stay.
