Hotel Marhaba

A very bad hotel. The manager and staff don't behave well with women.

There are no windows or ventilation in most rooms, and they feel very claustrophobic. Only about one room per floor seems to face the road. Getting here by cab is awkward too, since it drops you on the main road about 100 away. In the morning they switch off the AC, and the lift is often off, so you may have to take the stairs. They also overbook, saying rooms are available and then denying it when you arrive. No soap or towels are provided; when I asked, they told me to buy them at a nearby shop. Staff can be very unresponsive and ignore requests.

Room 301's AC wasn't working, there was no geyser, and the bathroom was dirty.

The price they quote when you arrive is different from what they ask for at checkout. The reception staff seem to be there to scam and loot people. WiFi doesn't work, and there's no network in the room. Hot water is available only until 10 in the morning, and checkout is also at 10 a.m. Please confirm the price three or four times before booking, or they may give you a different amount at checkout. Don't go there, it's a waste.
