Hotel Minerva Residency

The staff were decent, but I was really disappointed by the room quality and the location. The rooms are unbelievably small, and the bathroom tap was broken. The entrance was disgusting too. Oyo, please check the room and area when you're charging so much for a stay.

The only real drawback for my solo stay was the narrow bathroom. Two people couldn't stand in it at once. Otherwise, everything was perfect for me. The rooms were hygienic, the amenities were as described, and the staff were so well-mannered and impressive. They guided me with everything I needed and kept me informed about bad weather.

For what you pay, the room was far too small and had yellow bed linen, with no table or seating. The staff were cordial, but cleanliness wasn't something they could boast about. You can find similar rooms for much less in other cities, including other metros. The price compared with what you get left a bad taste, and Mumbai's lodging business needs a serious overhaul.

My booking was through makemytrip, and I was lucky they helped me afterward. When I called to confirm and ask how to get there, the manager demanded another payment equal to what I'd already paid, saying I wouldn't be allowed to check in otherwise. I could have been stranded. That made the hotel staff seem completely unreliable and untrustworthy, and it felt like they were trying to deceive and steal from me. The advertised room also turned out to be something different. Please avoid this place, and book somewhere else. If Google allowed negative ratings, I'd give it -5 stars.
