The rooms are decent, though the building is old and repair work is underway. They’ve been renovated recently. A little small, but enough space for two.

We booked this place because it was close to Tata Memorial Hospital, but the stay was awful. The rooms were extremely small, poorly maintained, and had a constant foul smell. Hygiene was shockingly poor. There’s no lift, only steep stairs, which is especially inconsiderate for patients and caregivers. The hotel’s actual condition was nowhere near what the pictures showed. We paid nearly ₹5,000 a night, a rate I’d expect to get a much better property for. I strongly recommend avoiding it. Look for another nearby hotel; you’ll likely have a better, more dignified stay.

The rooms and service were quite good, but the route to the hotel is narrow and congested most of the time. Getting there with a lot of luggage would be a real hassle. Many cab drivers won’t come in, so you may have to walk about 200m from the main road.

The staff were simple, polite, and honest, which made me very happy during my stay. I’d rate the hotel a 10. Mr. Sarfaraz, the hotel manager, was an outstanding person who helped us a lot. I haven’t met a manager as good as him at any hotel. I went to Tata Memorial Mumbai to get my father’s cancer treated, and the hotel was a great new property at a reasonable rate. Everyone should stay at Sai Palace once.

The booking was cancelled at 8:30 am on the day I was due to check in, with no warning. I reached the hotel and was told it had been cancelled. I had my final year examination at 10 am that day, so it was traumatic and horrible. I had to find another hotel in a hurry, get myself settled, and make it to the exam. The staff were arrogant. The location is very crowded, though near KEM and Tata Hospital, so people may have little choice. This property isn’t reliable, and I won’t recommend it to any friend.
