Hotel Windsor Castle

We paid 3000 for a horrible stay, and I’ll never go back. The approach road was tiny and dirty, and the rooms were so small they felt like bathrooms, with barely enough room to walk around the beds. The beds split apart in the middle, so you had to get up and adjust them. Switches on the headboards kept turning lights on and off whenever you leaned back. No towels were provided; when we asked, staff said the laundry hadn’t sent any. The toilet roll was over, too. Breakfast was pathetic, just Upma or poha without curry or chutney. Staff were very rude when we asked for even a half-hour or one-hour extension, and tried to milk us for extra payment. Most hotels give a 2-3 hour extension when asked. This place was a pain.

We felt completely misled. Online it was listed as a 3-star property, but in reality it was very basic, and the “luxury deluxe room” label was a complete lie. The room was much smaller than the pictures suggested. The included breakfast was poor quality: one aloo paratha and two pieces of untoasted bread. The hotel doesn’t cook the food itself, but brings it from outside, and it tasted terrible. I strongly advise against booking here.

I booked a Junior Suite at Windsor Castle in Mumbai, but in the middle of the night I had to move to a much lower-category room. The suite was in awful shape, full of rats and with a strong foul smell. The property is very poorly maintained and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for cleanliness, comfort, or a safe stay.

The rooms were dirty, with insects and cockroaches inside, and there was no proper room service. They charge for breakfast but bring just one item to the room, so there’s little point in paying for it. I really don’t recommend staying here.
