Quaint Suites

For a short stop near Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Quaint Suites Hotel is a sensible budget choice. It’s about a 20-minute drive away, and for an overnight stay I’d choose it over paying for an expensive 5-star hotel. Comfortable and convenient, with the essentials covered.

We were only about a 10-minute drive from the international airport, and the hotel had plenty of space and large parking. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were great. Imran at the front desk was especially humble and helpful. We’d booked an executive room, but since we had an infant with us, he upgraded us to a much more spacious suite at no extra cost. My family and I had a really great stay.

For the price, it’s a decent place, and the property is fairly large. The daily cleaning and fresh towels, which are basic things, were taken care of. There’s room to improve the service and breakfast, though. As a budget hotel, it’s a good fit for solo travel.

We’d booked three nights, from Thursday to Saturday, and had told the hotel staff we’d arrive early Friday morning after our Indigo flight was cancelled. When we got there, the manager had given our room to someone else. We waited about half an hour at reception before getting a room. It felt unprofessional, like the manager had taken advantage of our late arrival to make money. I’d never recommend this hotel.
