Regent Andheri Hotel

The breakfast has a very good spread and tastes great, and the staff are friendly. The third floor rooms have been renovated recently, and the hotel is good value for money. The area is a drawback, and the rooms at the back have no view. I’d recommend it to families and business travelers.

The room was decent value for a stay near the airport, and the bed was comfortable. There were a couple of problems in the room: the fridge didn’t work, and the shower only had hot water. The restaurant food was superb, with excellent service from its staff. I’m also grateful to reception for helping me get a refund after my flight was cancelled and urging me to book another carrier. I did, and it worked out.

Getting to the hotel was a struggle. It’s in an inconvenient area with construction going on, and vehicles couldn’t reach the entrance. We had to walk 15 minutes to find a cab. The food was overpriced and below par, and charging for a full 24 hours despite a 2 PM check-in and noon checkout felt unfair. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for the money. The room looked decent, but it wasn’t comfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work, some electrical outlets were useless, and the room felt sticky and dirty when we arrived. I’d booked a month ahead and called to ask about the room. The receptionist snapped, “Didn’t you check while booking?” refused to send photos, and hung up. He was just as rude face to face. Wi-Fi worked when we checked in, then dropped out after 3-4 hours. When I complained, Sebastian brushed it off by saying everyone had the same problem, then ended the call. Between the poor location, missing basics, and staff who wouldn’t help, the stay was a huge disappointment.

Everything else was fine, and the other staff were okay, but the daytime front receptionist, Sebastian, was extremely rude and had no manners. He’s the one with glasses, and he ruined the whole experience. Please replace him with someone who doesn’t seem to hate the job.
