During my night stay at The Unicontinental on 17 February 2026, the room and bathroom hygiene were unacceptable. I found several cockroaches by the bed and in the toilet area. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly, urine droplets were on the lid, there was no mirror in the toilet, and the taps and fittings looked ancient and hadn’t been replaced. The washroom overall was in very poor condition. The bedsheet was torn and looked unclean, which suggested housekeeping and quality checks had been neglected. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this property failed badly. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rate also went up when I arrived at reception, even though I’d confirmed the price after getting the contact number from Google, receiving a quote on the phone, and being sent a sample room video on WhatsApp. Very disappointing experience overall.

I’m very happy with the comfortable stay and the very good service. Customer service behavior has improved a lot, and the service is better too. Good, keep it up.

The rooms at Hotel Unicontinental, Khar felt poorly maintained, with visible paint problems and general wear that took away from the comfort. Some staff were impolite too, which made the experience worse. Given the location and what I expected, I think the hotel has potential, but it needs to improve room upkeep and staff behavior.
