Ishwar looked after us really well. We went to Ira by Orchid for the Sunday brunch, and the poolside setting with live music made for a relaxed afternoon. There was lots to choose from, including several live counters and a good range of main dishes. The desserts were a highlight and made a lovely end to the meal. The unlimited buffet is a nice option if you want to sample different things or just stick with your favourites.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and nicely designed, with the modern comforts you'd expect from a premium stay. I had a wonderful time at Ira by Orchid Hotel. The food was a real highlight, with plenty of tasty choices across both the buffet and à la carte menus. It's conveniently located, and the atmosphere around the property feels elegant but still relaxing. The front desk and restaurant teams were especially hospitable and made us feel at home. I'd recommend it for a visit to the area, whether you're there for work or a break.

The restaurant has a lovely open setting, with trees and a view of the swimming pool. The breakfast and other food were tasty, too. It can be budget friendly, with stays sometimes under 5-6k and sometimes more than 7-8k. Everything felt very clean and hygienic, and the staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming. When I felt unwell at checkout and sat down for a while, they brought me lemon water. That was really thoughtful and caring. A very good place to stay.

The Malacca Food Festival at Spice Oasis at The Orchid Hotel had a beautifully themed atmosphere and great service. The spread included soups, salads, starters, live counters, and main courses, followed by delicious desserts with something for every taste. It really made me feel like I was in Malaysia. Highly recommended while it's on, before January 17th! 🍽️
