Zostel Mumbai - Hostel

The common spaces were mostly quiet on weekdays, though there was some activity on Saturday. For getting work done, there’s a large cafeteria and a dedicated AC workspace with fast wifi, ₹100 for 8 hours. Food can be ordered from the cafeteria straight to your room. The private room was clean and had a fridge, proper desk and chair, and a decent washroom. A reliable choice if you want a comfortable private room and a good work setup.

The common areas were my favorite spot to relax, work, hang out, or meet other travelers. The social vibe made it easy to make friends. The rooms and dorms were clean and well maintained, with good privacy and storage, comfortable beds, and hygienic washrooms. From the moment I arrived, Zostel Andheri felt lively, positive, and welcoming to travelers. The staff were always helpful and made the stay feel personal. It also felt safe, fun, and great value. I’d happily return and recommend it to solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Mumbai.

I stayed here almost a week and had no major complaints. It’s well managed, with neat rooms, a clean shared space, and an amazing crowd. Girish, Avni, and Dhanvi were wonderful hosts. They really care about you having a good time.

This is my second Zostel stay in India. I’d been to the Bangalore Zostel before, and this time I mainly needed somewhere to sleep, with the chance to meet fellow travelers as a bonus. I arrived late the first night and went straight to bed, but on the next two days I got back earlier and talked with my roommate, who was from another part of India. It was a great exchange between people from three different age groups, and the conversation went on until 1. It was worth it. The bed was decent, towels were clean, the air conditioner worked well, and the bathroom was clean with shower gel and shampoo. The place is reasonably close to the airport, with a few street food spots nearby and supplies within a good walk. The reception team were friendly and greeted me with a smile. I’d recommend it to solo travelers who are happy to meet new people.
