OYO 13548 Leaf Garden Cottage

We really enjoyed staying here as a family. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were well kept, with balconies. The place is surrounded by tea plantations and lovely natural views. A very friendly vendor was always ready to help. Parking space, though, isn't enough.

It's 15 kms from Munnar town, in an isolated spot that should suit people who like peace and quiet. Each room has a balcony overlooking the hills, and Mr. Antony is a helpful, good person to deal with. Road work caused us a little trouble during our stay. I hope it'll be sorted out within a week.

We paid 5000 for two rooms for two nights. The property is tucked well inside, reached by a steep road, and parking is difficult. In the upper rooms, the flush didn't work and there was no TV. Hot water wasn't available in the room, but the helper brought it in buckets when we asked.

The room had a nice view, but that was its only positive. Getting there from the parking is too steep, and both parking and the approach from Munnar town are difficult. Hot water was hard to get, and I didn't feel the location was safe.
