We have been coming to this hotel since it opened, but this was our worst stay so far. The quality and service have clearly dropped, and sadly we won't return. After visiting the temple, we had to find dinner elsewhere and ate at Hotel President, where the food was good and hygienic. Both of us had severe stomach upset after eating at the hotel. We skipped breakfast the next morning because we didn't want to risk more. At lunch, the Masala Papad topping was cold, as if straight from the fridge. We held off complaining, hoping the main course would be better, but the rotis were extremely thick and the mushroom gravy watery and poorly prepared. It felt like nobody cared about the food quality or its effect on customers' health. There were problems from check-in to check-out. Security parked our car in the basement and disappeared. Later another staff member told us to fetch it ourselves because the first person wasn't available. Our room also had no towels, a basic requirement for a hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the buffet breakfast is good, though the selection is limited. The Lounge bar is great and the food there is very tasty. It's close to local attractions like the zoo and mysore palace, and getting an Uber is easy. Infant friendly too.

The restaurant was a favorite, with delicious food full of Mysore flavor. Our accommodation was comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive, going out of their way to help. The location made it easy to explore, with plenty of nearby shops, eateries, and attractions. The zoo is just 700 meters away on foot, and Mysore Palace is 2 km from Hotel Grand Serenity Mysore. We had a fantastic family stay and would highly recommend it.

We've booked this hotel many times, but the service didn't satisfy us this time. We had two rooms, a suite and an elegance room. The elegance room had no mini fridge. After several complaints, one arrived at night, but it wasn't the hotel management who took the initiative. A kind and helpful technical person came and fixed it. Room service needs improvement.

The breakfast was decent, but a little disappointing since I expected more from such a welcoming place. Still, the hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and the rooms were neat, spacious, and very clean, with the comforts thoughtfully provided. The location is very convenient for tourist spots like the palace and Zoo, which saved us a lot of travel time. I'll surely book here whenever I stay in Mysore. It's become my go-to.
