The location was good, right beside Mysuru Palace, and the ground-floor restaurant had some good vegetarian choices. But they let people drink liquor there, which made it unpleasant, and I saw the manager drinking in front of guests. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families. The room was the worst I’ve stayed in: very old furniture, beds, and windows, and no cleanliness. There wasn’t a proper switchboard for charging a phone, and the Wi-Fi worked at night but not in the morning. A very bad experience.

It felt more like a storage godown than a hotel. The building was old and poorly maintained, with broken windows and torn bedspreads. Even the kettle was awkward to use because its cable was extremely short. Very disappointing.

The staff were good, and the restaurant was there, though the food was only average. Hotel Palace Plaza looks shiny from outside, but the room didn’t feel worth its rate. The location is handy, just a short walk from Mysore Palace.

The food was pathetic. They charge like a 3-star hotel, but the food felt like zero stars. I’d rather eat roadside food. I’d never recommend this to anyone 🤮🤮🤮
