Hotel Kamal Residency

Being close to Naddi View Point, McLeod Ganj, Bhagsunag Temple, the Tibetan Temple, and Dal Lake made sightseeing easy. We also spent a peaceful, relaxing evening watching the sunset from the terrace seating area. The snow-covered mountains right outside our premium room balcony were wonderful to wake up to during our two nights here. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food was tasty at every meal. The staff were friendly, supportive, and quick to help, which made us feel welcome. It was a refreshing, memorable stay, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone looking for comfort.

The staff were polite and helpful, and they made the stay comfortable. Parking is limited but manageable, with space for about 2-3 cars. There’s no dedicated place or facility for drivers, which could be inconvenient for some travelers. They also charge extra for the room heater, something I think could be included given the weather. The balcony view was the best part, a refreshing sight to wake up to. Breakfast was good, though dinner was only average. The hotel serves vegetarian food only, which didn’t work well for us. Hot water was another problem. After leaving the geyser on for two hours, we only got about 10 minutes of hot water. It seems like there may be an issue with the hot water system, beyond the cold weather. A decent place with lovely views and good service, but there are a few things to improve.

The sunset from the terrace was beautiful. Our two nights in the premium balcony room were made even more special by the snow-covered mountains just outside. Arun from BNS travel made the stay a really lovely experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food was tasty throughout. The peaceful location and balcony view were the best parts, especially waking up to the scenery. A decent stay with good service and lovely views, but a few things could be improved.
