OYO Flagship 44919 Orient Comfort

I paid 1200 online for a two-day booking, but at check-in they asked me for 2400, saying the site hadn’t updated their latest price. That’s not the guest’s problem. They should stay in touch with goibibo/makemytrip, and they shouldn’t misbehave with customers. They wasted two hours of my time.

The rooms were decent and clean, and the food was better. It was comfortable to stay here. What would bring me back is the staff, who were very helpful and polite, and the service they gave us.

The service was disappointing too. The food server wasn’t trained in hotel serving etiquette, the menu card was hard to read because it was so small, and the card POS machine didn’t work, so I had to pay in cash. There were several room issues: the main door wouldn’t lock properly, there was a gap in the sliding window, and the AC smelled of smoke. The TV was mounted where it didn’t face the bed. Hot water took a long time to arrive, packed mineral water wasn’t provided, and breakfast started too late. It should begin at 0700hrs. I wouldn’t choose to visit again.

The reception and cleaning staff were good, but the rooms were below average and in poor shape. Lights didn’t work, and proper sanitary items weren’t provided. The rooms also didn’t match the photos on major travel sites or the OYO portal.
