Prithvi Inn by OYO Rooms

We booked every room for our guests for four days, and now regret it. It’s a cheap lodge-style hotel, and the charges were exorbitant for what it offered. We accepted that because it was close to our home, and things seemed fine when we booked in May/June. When our guests arrived in November, many rooms smelled from seepage. Nearly every bathroom was hard to lock from inside, and some couldn’t be locked at all. The buckets and mugs were in such bad shape that we bought our own. People were allowed to party late, and despite repeated requests to stop the nuisance, it carried on until 2 AM. As the last guest was leaving, the hotel locked the main gate as if holding the guest ransom. They demanded a lot of false bills, then reversed them when challenged. The guest’s luggage stayed locked up until we finally settled the payment. We’d booked three other hotels for the same event, and the other two were very happy experiences. Their rooms and treatment were more than excellent compared with this place. Very disappointed.

Nice hotel and very good service.

The rooms were damp and dirty, with an unpleasant smell, stained bedsheets, and hair everywhere. Facilities were poor, and constant sounds of planes taking off and landing kept me from sleeping well. This was one of the worst places to stay in Nagpur. It felt like a place for couples to cuddle. The owner will tell you it has the best OYO facilities in Nagpur, but sit at reception for an hour and you’ll see it’s more like a hotels By Hour facility. Don’t book here, and if you must, avoid make my trip. They say they don’t have a tie-up with MMT, then charge extra when you arrive.

I read the reviews before staying, then spent four days there. The owner is strict about illegal activity, and the rule is no check-in without ID. Still, the owner was helpful and polite. The rooms were near and clean, and the terrace view was awesome. You can go up there to relax and smoke. I saw couples sitting and enjoying themselves there, and the atmosphere was good and friendly. The owner told me about incidents behind some bad reviews, including unusual demands and behavior, which was shocking. Thanks for a good experience, still doing great.
