A good budget option with decent facilities. The rooms are clean and kept up well, and the staff are polite and helpful. Its convenient location works for short visits or business stays. Raj Mahal Hotel is comfortable and good value for money.

It can be good for solo travelers, but my arrival was unsettling. I got there at 4:35, nearly because of my train, and asked for a 24-hour room. The receptionist told me to wait outside until 6:30, which made me feel insecure. The washroom wasn’t fully clean, and the hand shower was broken.

Mosquitoes in the room made it hard to sleep. The bedsheet was stained, the room was dirty, and cigarette butts were scattered around. The broken window also made the place feel unsafe and neglected. The washroom was poorly maintained, too. They even overcharged me ₹1 for water bottles, which felt petty and unprofessional. A very disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Rooms are cheap and affordable. Good enough for what you’d expect as a solo traveler.

The hotel is ideally located for the railway station. It’s very old, and the rooms are average. The staff were good, and the owner was courteous and kind.
