Townhouse 700 HOTEL KRISHNA

I came back for a second visit, hoping things might have improved, but only stayed because the location is convenient for catching buses. The room and bedsheet had dirty marks, and the chicken they served smelled as though it was from two days earlier. They also charge extra if you book a room less than an hour before 10 am.

The service made the stay exhausting. Staff kept asking whether I was checking out and wanted the key whenever I stepped out. Requests took at least half an hour, and the receptionist seemed unable to handle them. There was no room service either. I paid ₹1500 in advance. The daily rates were ₹1200 for a non-AC room and ₹1400 for an AC room. When I asked to change rooms because mine was in such poor condition, I was told there was only one AC room. The non-AC rooms I was shown had their own problems, including broken taps, rain coming through windows, faulty gate locks, and broken handles. I checked in during the afternoon and asked to move before 6 PM, but after I called at 6, it took half an hour or more for someone to come. I ended up in a twin-bed room as a solo traveler. It seemed odd given that the hotel appeared to rent rooms to couples by the hour. The first room had dirty sheets, a broken bathroom tap, a tiny bathroom with no ventilation fan, and a broken window pane. The AC was dusty and full of spider webs, and the ceiling fan had sticky dust on it. The second room was a little better, but its handle and lock were still difficult to use. The TV didn’t work at first, so I asked someone to turn it on, and they came with a different remote. Whenever I returned after going out, I had to call reception to get the TV turned on again. This was a miserable vacation stay. The rooms were in awful shape and the service was consistently terrible. I’d advise people to stay elsewhere.

The place was very unhygienic, and the staff were lazy and unhelpful. Check-in was poor, they gave no help with luggage or anything else, and there wasn’t even soap in the room. Don’t stay here.

The toilets are maintained very cheaply, and none of the rooms seemed clean. The beds were dirty, and it looked like they weren’t changed after guests checked out. Reception controls the AC and switches it off, then makes excuses. I’d never visit this place with family. It feels like it’s meant for other things.
