The washrooms were extremely dirty, and the overall hygiene was unacceptable. When I raised the bathroom cleaning issue with the cleaning staff, she told me they had never seen anything like this before, that most guests stayed quiet, and that I was talking too much. I was only asking for basic necessities and proper cleanliness, but was spoken to disrespectfully and without professionalism. We also asked for a kettle, hot water to bathe and drinking water. Instead of helping, the receptionist and cleaning staff raised their voices and acted unprofessionally. When I tried to explain our concerns, they targeted us rather than helping. They expected respect from us while showing none themselves, and even though the mistakes were on their side, they insisted they were mine. When I questioned the receptionist about the cleaning, they denied the problems and gave false statements. There was no cleanliness or respect for guests during my extremely disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families.

The room they gave us was dirty and looked like a storeroom, with waste materials inside. At first, the hotel wanted ₹1000 for two adults and two children for about an hour of refreshment. We negotiated the price down to ₹600.

The whole room smelled bad, and the blankets and mattresses weren’t clean. In rooms 101 and 102, the bathroom door is broken. I’d advise people not to stay at this hostel.

The room smelled badly, the restroom was in very poor condition, and it wasn’t clean. Many of the ACs didn’t work, and after I first asked for the AC remote, they said they’d turn it on when I came back. When I asked again, they told me that AC wouldn’t work. Why charge for an AC room, then? There was no hot water in the morning, and the bed smelled awful. We also struggled a lot to get a parking solution. At the entrance reception area, people were drinking, so I don’t consider Balaji hotel safe. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for families. Management should take care of these problems.
