Treebo Amigos Residency Cochin Airport Hotel

The fresh, tasty food and the staff, who were polite, humble and ready to help, made for a comfortable, pleasant family stay at Treebo Amigos Residency. The property was clean and well maintained, and all the amenities were working properly. It’s very close to the airport, and the complimentary one-way pickup made getting around easy and stress-free. We’d happily recommend it.

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were nice and helpful. There’s no lift, but they helped with our luggage. Breakfast was available in the morning, though there wasn’t much choice, and what we tried, puri and uttapam, wasn’t good. There’s no restaurant, so we had to order from outside and pay a delivery fee to the hotel. On our return, we stayed at daffodils luxury airport suites, which was much nicer. The Uber fare from the airport was about Rs 250 to either hotel. When we first arrived in Cochin, we took an auto arranged with help from Treebo and paid Rs 300, although Treebo had quoted Rs 250. I’d suggest looking at other hotels too, and not choosing only by the distance shown on Google Maps. Taxis and autos leave the airport and seem to charge about the same for hotels within 5-10 km.

The water supply was either absent or extremely limited for most of my stay, so even taking a shower and keeping up with basic hygiene became a struggle. I raised it with the staff, but there was no timely fix. I paid a premium and expected running water. The lack of this basic service made the stay stressful instead of relaxing, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel or consider it worth the money.

The helpful, polite staff were the bright spot, but the stay didn’t match the property’s 4.7 rating or its price. We paid INR 4,800 for a room that felt worth no more than INR 1,500. The rooms are small, there’s no view, and noise carries easily. We could hear furniture being moved on the floor above. There was no fan speed control, cleanliness was poor, and we had a lizard/pest issue. Hand towels and an extra pillow were missing too. Breakfast had almost no variety, so I regretted paying extra for it. The INR 300 airport pickup charge seemed unreasonable given how close the hotel is. There are many better options, and I wouldn’t recommend this one at its price.
