It was cheap, but I couldn't get a peaceful night's sleep. There was a rat smell, and the sheets and towels were dirty and smelled bad. Covering my face meant dealing with the smell, while leaving it uncovered meant mosquitoes. I also sometimes found cockroaches in the bathroom and even in the cot. Not a good stay if you're sensitive to smells.

The lift and staircase were in terrible condition, and the hygiene throughout was poor, from the bed linen to the washroom. This place doesn't seem fit to be a hotel. OYO should walk away too if they care about their reputation.

There were spider webs everywhere, including around reception and on the fans, and I couldn't even sit on the bed. The bathrooms hadn't been flushed, and the rooms seemed to belong to cockroaches rather than guests. Bugs and cockroaches everywhere. Worst hotel I've ever seen.

For a day or two in Nellore, this place works well. The rooms are good, and the restaurant downstairs is superb. Try the pongal at breakfast, then have a coffee just outside.

The rooms at Celebrations Residency are spacious, though the closed-up rooms and area could use room freshener. Room service was very good and they serve food. I was there two months ago and got a meal, especially liked the Karam dosa my friend suggested. It's about 2 kilometres from the main bus station.
