After the owner responded, I want to make clear that this account is based on my genuine experience. My concern was never about making money or causing problems. I booked for my parents, who had traveled a long way and were left stranded at check-in despite having a confirmed booking reference. Rather than address that professionally, the owner made personal accusations publicly, which further reflects the customer service we experienced. I’d ask future guests to confirm their booking directly with the property before traveling. I booked one night for my parents’ anniversary through Agoda. They had traveled from Kerala to Ooty and were exhausted. It was very difficult to find the place, and when they finally got there, they weren’t allowed to check in. The staff said they had no connection with Agoda, even though I’d paid beforehand and had a booking. They spoke very rudely to me and to my parents. I was embarrassed in front of them, and they were left stranded in the middle of nowhere. They had to book somewhere else, and I lost my money. I believe they acted fraudulently. Please stay away from this place.

We spent just one day here before booking somewhere else. The receptionist couldn’t explain the process clearly, and the management seemed disorganized. For the price, the below-average cleanliness and hygiene and barely working Wi-Fi weren’t worth it. I wouldn’t recommend the place unless the view is your main reason for booking, since many other Ooty stays offer one.

Ramesh answered my call promptly at 6:30 on Saturday morning and offered us a room, which I really appreciated. I’d been unsure about finding somewhere in Ooty on a Saturday and called after seeing the Google reviews. We were a family of two adults and three kids and got a 2BHK on Elk Hill. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, in the main building of the Tulips Elk Hill property, but Ramesh owns this accommodation for private guests, so there’s no reception. Rexi, the friendly and humble manager, stays in touch and coordinates your arrival in Ooty town. He’ll meet you there and guide you to the room, so plan for that. Parking is available, and the Elk Hill property has a small kitchen inside. There’s no breakfast served or included because this is the only accommodation available at Elk Hill, but breakfast can be bought at the Tulips restaurant for ₹150 per person, which is a decent deal. Elk Hill is high up and has an amazing view over town. Blossom springs also has another property on Coonor Road, about 2 km from the bus stand. It’s fantastic too. We stayed at both places because we liked the host’s friendliness. The Coonor Road property has a window screen issue: the mirror side faces inward and can be seen from outside. Ramesh said he’d sort it out soon. Heavy curtains should solve it for now. The properties are excellent for the prices offered. Rexi also arranged a professional, prompt, and reasonably priced taxi and driver for an Ooty sightseeing tour. I left my own car in the parking to avoid the hassle and stress. The package included all parking fees, and the service was clear. Extra appreciation for that too. Five stars all around.
