Hotel Pahalgam View

Being right by the Lidder River gave us lovely mountain views and the sound of flowing water to wake up to. The hotel is beautifully kept, comfortable, and elegant. My spacious room had modern amenities, including central heating, a mini bar, and premium linen, and the cleanliness and attention to detail were top-notch. Staff were warm, prompt, and careful with every request. The food had a good range of local and continental choices. Hotel De Courtyard Pahalgam is a wonderful blend of comfort and natural beauty, and I'd recommend it for either a relaxing or adventurous visit.

The room at DE Courtyard Pahalgam came with a heater, Wi-Fi, and a smart TV, which was a big plus. With the river view and relaxing atmosphere, it was easy to unwind in nature. Aafaq and Aadil sir were especially friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway with great service.

I especially liked the breakfast buffet, with its wide choice of fresh options. The location was ideal, within walking distance of many local attractions. My room at De Courtyard was spotless and modern, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in. A wonderful stay, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pahalgam.

I went to De Courtyard, Pahalgam with my mother during Chillai Kalan, the 40 days of peak winter. It was our first stay there, and the riverside setting, mountain views, and nature around the property felt peaceful even in winter. It's near the main areas but quiet, away from the bustle. I can imagine it looking beautiful in summer too, with river rafting and lush surroundings. We were upgraded to a suite after I mentioned traveling with my mother and hoping for a good view. On the full moon night, we watched moonlight fall over the snow-covered mountains and flowing river. I'll cherish that view forever. The spacious rooms were beautifully furnished, had modern amenities, and kept us comfortable in the harsh winter. After we'd been sightseeing at Aru and Betaab Valley and seen snowfall, the cold was intense, especially for my mother. Mr. Sajid, the owner, personally checked that the room heater worked, the electric blankets were properly arranged, and our comfort was looked after. When I asked if my mother could have dinner in her room instead of going down to the dining area, they handled it kindly and sent dinner up at a time convenient for her. Those thoughtful gestures made a real difference. The staff were warm, polite, and attentive with all the guests. It was lovely to see Mr. Sajid personally making sure people were comfortable. At night I spent some time in the garden by the river, learning about the surroundings, clear water, fish, and future plans for the property. It was calm and grounding. You can watch the stars, sit back, have a bonfire if you wish, and disconnect. The next morning, sunrise from the room was just as lovely. I stepped outside with a cup of tea to enjoy the sunshine and nature. It's the kind of place where you want to slow down and stay longer. I'm sharing some photos from that time of year so others can get an idea of the property. I'm sure it would look even more spectacular in other weather too, whether snowy or lush and green. I'd wholeheartedly recommend De Courtyard to families, women travelers, and anyone looking for warmth, comfort, and a real connection with nature in Pahalgam. I'll most definitely try to come back in future, In-sha-Allah!
