Hotel Kaveri International

The shared entrance for the hotel and the bar gets crowded in the evening, so this doesn't feel like an ideal place for families. The rooms look a little dated, and the air conditioners are noisy. Hot water wasn't working in my bathroom, so they moved me to another room, where the basin and faucet water was muddy. The room included breakfast, but there was only one main dish and one side. They'd promised a buffet when I booked, then said a buffet was available only if more than 10 people were having breakfast. Four star on the sign, two star facilities.

We came for lunch hungry, but waited a long time for the food to arrive. The taste wasn't good either and didn't meet our expectations. Not a satisfying meal.

It's a reliable place for a meal near Paravoor, Kollam. There's a good range of dishes, the food was satisfying, and the staff were helpful and polite. The dining area was clean and comfortable.

Bibin at reception was especially friendly, and the staff made the whole experience great. Everyone communicated politely.
