Godwin hotel

The management wouldn't refund the nights we'd already booked. They offered to move us, but every room seemed to be in very poor condition. The place wasn't worth the price: rooms and bathrooms were dirty, with bed bugs on the bed, washroom sink, and furniture. The sink taps didn't work properly and the fans were noisy. The layout of the rooms was oddly crooked, and the hallways and stairs to the upper floors were very dirty. A really disappointing stay.

The place was extremely dirty and unhygienic. I ended up with a skin disease.

It felt safe staying here, and I'd come back. The staff were helpful, especially the room service guys, who were top notch. Dinner dishes like malai kofta, palak paneer, and chana masala were really good, though the pakoras and parantha were too greasy for me. Parking, wifi, and air conditioning were good, and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel is easy to find as you enter town and close to the markets, mall, and other amenities.

The staff are friendly, and basic things like an iron and refrigerator are available on every floor. Outside food isn't allowed, though. The hotel is fairly average: rooms are spacious, but I still don't understand the bathroom layout. Some rooms have air conditioners in poor condition that take much longer to cool the space.
