Club Mahindra Pavagadh

The restaurant was a strong point for us as strict vegetarians: the property is fully vegetarian, and the food selection was good. The buffet at both breakfast and dinner had a great spread. Housekeeping was relatively better, and the new studio apartments in the newer building seem better than the standalone cottages we stayed in. At first, though, the place felt average and the rooms were below par. There are a few activities on site, but getting to Pavagadh ropeway or other nearby sights is very difficult without a car. Keep that in mind when booking, and note that taxis in the area are quite expensive. We also disliked being told that ice wasn’t available during the day. It was so hot that we wanted ice for water or a cold coffee in our room, and we explained it wasn’t for alcoholic drinks, but staff didn’t believe us. Customer service, especially room service, could improve. We stayed two nights and booked two rooms. Overall, it’s a good property, but we’d rate it 4 out of 5.

The spa was so relaxing, and it was my best SPA experience at the pavagarh property. Mr. Sunil, the SPA supervisor, and Ms. Litthan, the SPA SPECIALIST, are both great at their work. The luggage transfer at check-in, though, was very poor.

The stay costs more than it feels worth, with overpriced rooms and food. The hotel seems to be cashing in on the view and the lack of good places to stay around Pavagadh. Rooms looked unkempt, with dirty interiors and missing basics like a toothbrush and laundry bag. Housekeeping and buggy service took so long to arrive, which made the price harder to justify.

The resort is well maintained, with a clean, comfortable room and a relaxing atmosphere. We had a pleasant stay at club mahindra Pavagadh. The calm surroundings and nice views made it a peaceful getaway, and the staff were polite and helpful whenever we needed them. The food was good with a decent range, and it was a nice place to unwind with family and enjoy nature.
