Pondicherry Executive Inn

We spent 7 nights in the hotel’s Annex. The staff were amazing and always ready to help, whatever we asked. Each morning, they called to check if we wanted the room serviced. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage and a small balcony overlooking the street. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. It was generally quiet, so we slept well, though dogs sometimes barked at night. That’s not really the hotel’s fault. The air conditioning worked well, and there was lots of hot water and a powerful shower. It’s in a great location, close to restaurants, bars and the promenade. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended, and thanks to the team for being so kind.

After looking at a few places, I chose Executive Inn Annex. Our room was in the annex building, barely 130 meters from the main one. Room No. 405 was on the top floor, with no rooms across from it, so it felt almost like having a private room up there. I loved the minimalist, no-nonsense rooms. Even the wash basin was placed just right, so washing your hands felt comfortable. That small detail stood out, since in some places the tap is too close to the basin. We didn’t have any problems, and the staff were helpful whenever we asked. The rooms are super budget-friendly and feel safe. I’d recommend the place without hesitation, 5/5 overall.

We had a welcoming, old-fashioned dining experience at Executive Inn. The food was decent, but the service was excellent, and the hospitality really stood out. Manager Henry looked after us throughout the visit and made sure everything went smoothly. His warm manner and attention to detail made it even better. A great place for customer service.

The location made getting to Pondicherry’s main attractions, the French Quarter, and local markets easy. Inside, the wooden furniture gives Executive Inn a warm, traditional character that fits the city’s colonial feel, and it’s a welcome change from standard modern hotel decor. My room was spotless and well kept, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and happy to offer local recommendations. The lobby felt welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the hotel was a comfortable, reliable base for my stay.
