They accepted my early morning check-in request when I called ahead, and charged a good price, which I hadn’t expected. I got an AC room for the price of a non-AC one. The hotel is clean and well maintained, so it’s a decent budget-friendly option. Better to call and book directly than use hotel apps. Their number and location are on Google. There’s no breakfast, car parking, swimming pool, or complimentary facilities.

The location is decent, about 18 to 20 minutes from Pondicherry bus stand and just 5 minutes from serenity beach, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel beyond that. The rooms are small and had a pungent smell, and the restroom smelled too. There was no cupboard, or, where one was there, it seemed infected with some kind of fungus. Bedsheets, towels, and headrests all had dirty stains. There’s no lift or toiletries. After checking in, we had to ask them to replace the bedsheets, bedspread, pillow cover, and towels. The price has doubled, and they told us it was holiday season, we wouldn’t get rooms anywhere else, and they were the only ones with rooms at that rate. Cleanliness wasn’t good, and no facilities were provided. It’s suitable only for a rough stay, and not worth the price or hype.

I booked this property for one night through “Make My Trip.” The check-in time I was notified of was 12pm, but the owner only let me check in at 2am. I had to pay out of pocket for another temporary stay, so it was a waste of money and time. A terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place again.

Manikandan, who dealt with us, was so nice and arranged all the facilities for us. We had a wonderful experience, the rooms were amazing, and the staff’s behavior was really satisfying. I’d suggest this place for your next Pondicherry visit. You won’t be disappointed.
