Hotel Auro Maison

The room was clean and tidy, and the stay itself was decent. But the plumbing was a major problem: water came slowly from only one tap at a time, leaving both the kitchen and bathroom without water. I complained, but nothing was fixed. Breakfast portions were strictly limited, and extra food cost more. Requests like early check-in or changing rooms also came with high hourly charges for each thing.

I was there for 3 days and 2 nights. It was an okay, budget-friendly stay, with a spacious room, AC, a nice balcony view, and parking. Breakfast was included too, which was a nice extra. Rock Beach is around a 5-minute ride away. I rented a two-wheeler, which made getting around easier, and that would be a good idea here. A decent option if you're looking for an affordable stay in Pondicherry.

The rooftop turned out to be the highlight of the building, and I wish I'd gone up sooner. I really enjoyed my stay: the rooms were spacious and well designed, with a lovely balcony view. The 24/7 security and extensive CCTV coverage made me feel safe the whole time. Many thanks to the polite, professional staff for their wonderful service.

The hotel is a little away from the center, but I still think it was worth staying there. The hospitality and service were really good, and our room was clean and neat. Breakfast was included and quite fine. We checked out an hour late and no one said a word. Snacks were available in the lobby too.
