The property could use some improvements, but the service felt homely. Our host, Mr. Karthik, was supportive and cooperative throughout the stay, and the hotel was pretty good.

Good rooms at reasonable prices, with good service, and it's close to sightseeing spots. The residency is beside the lake and old bridge. There's no dedicated parking, so we had to leave our vehicle on the roadside, at our own risk. Overall, a good place to stay if you're comfortable with that.

Karthik was easy to reach throughout our stay and always ready to help with questions or problems. He also arranged bike rentals and suggested good places to visit, which helped us explore Pondicherry at our own pace. He welcomed us warmly, and the food delivery he organized was very convenient after a day out. We were five friends, and found the rooms neat and tidy, with hot water available anytime. It was peaceful, with no disturbances. New Seabreeze Residency is a comfortable, budget-friendly base for exploring Pondicherry, with a really helpful host. One thing to know when booking: Google Maps often lists it by mistake as “Oyo Seabreeze Residency,” so look for “New Seabreeze Residency.”
