The noise was disruptive, and maintenance throughout the property fell well below standard. Nothing about the stay felt worth the cost or comfortable. The dining areas were dirty, and it didn’t feel safe or sanitary to eat there. Food quality was extremely poor, which was alarming. Check-in was slow and disorganized, and the staff were inattentive, unhelpful, and sometimes rude from the moment I arrived. The room looked awful and was in very bad condition, with stains, dust, and an unpleasant smell. Basic amenities were missing or didn’t work properly. This was a deeply frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The room cost 10k a night, which felt like a complete waste. To me, this is just a lodge for an overnight stay, and shouldn’t cost more than 2k a night. When we checked in, the room was unhygienic. The bedsheets were stained, the pillow covers had fungal marks, the toilet was unclean, and the towels were dirty and unusable. The tap didn’t work, and we couldn’t use the shower. The geyser gave hot water, but there was no usable normal water to mix with it. We asked for spare towels and were refused because, they said, all the towels were at the laundry. Tea bags, sugar, and milk powder sachets weren’t in the room. We got them only after calling reception, and the tea was below average. Food was overpriced, so we had to go elsewhere for food and drinks. At checkout, the team wasn’t ready with an invoice or stay receipt. They asked us to wait, then said we should get it from MakeMyTrip. I’m shocked and disappointed by the Google ratings. My scores: ambience 0/10, food 0/10, cleanliness 0/10, service 1/10, location 2/10.

We had four rooms, and Mr M Muthukumar and his staff took very good care of us during our stay on Feb 6. The breakfast was nice, warm, and fresh. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. I’d be happy to come back.

The staff were courteous and responsive, though they seemed overloaded. Still, a hotel without a proper restaurant is a poor choice. Breakfast was the same each day: South Indian dishes, raw bread with local butter and jam, watermelon juice, and papaya. Dinner was buffet only, with limited options at an unreasonably high price. Good hotels with restaurants are available nearby. The building is new and the rooms are good, but there was just one 1 litre bottle of water for two guests. Plumbing leaked, the washbasin was blocked, and the new WC was uncomfortable and not good for hygiene. There was no carpet. The TV and dish remotes had buttons that didn’t work and weak cells, so getting things fixed took time and effort. Read all the terms carefully before booking. They take the full room charge for the stay at check-in, and, however courteously, insist they’re right and won’t budge.
