The helpful, cordial staff and the cheaper price were positives. It’s also near the railway station and temple, right on Bazar street, so everyday needs are only a few footsteps away. But I’d booked a 4-bed room online, and when I arrived none was available, so I had to settle for a customized arrangement. The room was small, dirty, and very old, with patches on the walls covering cracks. There was no geyser, flush, or tube light, just an LED lamp. A switch was broken, the fan had no regulator, the window wouldn’t lock, and the bathroom door latch was broken, etc etc. Hope this helps before you book.

The room was just okay, about 2/5 in quality. The bathroom and toilet were unclean, the fans only ran at their lowest speed, and there was no wash basin. There were power cuts, with no backup generator.

Booking online was my mistake. We spent the whole night unable to sleep, waiting for the next day so we could leave. There were serious bacteria and insects moving around on the bed. The rooms were filthy, like Mohenjo-daro and Harappa, and the toilets were just as dirty. After one person bathed, the next had to wait at least 10 minutes for the bathroom water to clear. When I complained at reception, the worker said, “Don’t cry, that’s usual.” I’d sleep on a railway station platform before staying in a place like this again. Be careful.

They charge a lot, 600 per room per day, and I didn’t like this place. Nothing was good except the reception. The receptionist’s behavior toward customers was so bad that I don’t want to give another star. It’s definitely not a good place to stay. You can search for other hotels instead.
