The rooms were clean and well maintained, and both the food and room service were good. The staff were polite, and everything fit the budget. It’s a good option for a solo stay of one or two days. The rooms can be noisy since it’s right in the market, though. Everything has its pros and cons.

The staff were helpful, but the repeated water problems spoiled the stay. We were there for five days and had to complain about water more than 10-15 times. I understand they may not have enough staff after COVID, but there’s no excuse for repeatedly saying they forgot to start the motor. Once would be understandable, but it happened throughout all five days. It shows how lacking the service is.

The hotel is in Ranchi near Hanuman Mandir. I booked through OYO and checked in around noon, then went out and returned at about 11pm. The TV wouldn’t turn on, and there was no phone in the room to call room service. My own phone was uncharged, which made things harder so late at night. I plugged it in and called the hotel using the number from OYO after ten minutes. Someone came, checked, and said they couldn’t do anything because it was late. They only arranged a phone. It was a very difficult night since I can’t sleep without TV, and the room heater also didn’t work in the very cold weather.

The room was spacious and clean, but maintenance was poor. The light didn’t work properly, water flow was very weak, and no service person was available when needed. The rent is very high. A total waste of money.
