The rooms work well for both relaxing and getting work done, with a desk, different places to sit, storage, a TV, air conditioning, good lighting and a coffee table. The bathrooms look a little old-fashioned, but they’re clean and usable. Hotel Ajanta Palace has a long hospitality history in Ratlam, and its service reflects that. It’s right in the city center, with the station, main markets and administrative offices all about 2-3 km away. The restaurant serves continuously from 7 AM to 11 PM, room service is efficient, and staff are courteous and responsive. Toiletries and cutlery are supplied too. With rates starting around ₹1900, booking online may get you a better deal. A good value option for business or leisure.

Never going back. The place costs far too much for the quality and portion size. My Dry chilli paneer was stale and much too salty, so I asked them to replace it. After 15 minutes, they brought back the same dish in the same cutlery. They said it had been made again, but I’m convinced nothing had changed. Service was extremely poor.
