I was driving toward Mumbai and needed a place to rest for a while, so I stopped to ask whether a room was available. The receptionist quoted 1800, while the online price was around 1200 to 1500. I was prepared to pay, and money wasn't the issue, but after I explained my situation he immediately named that amount. As I was leaving, he told me to look elsewhere if it was urgent. I didn't stay there. I gave the rating based on the location and room price.

The beds were really comfortable, and the hotel was nice. Check-in and checkout are available 24 hours, and I stayed for 27 hours without an extra charge. Room rates are a little high, though that's up to you. The rooms could use some renovation, and the reception staff were good.

Being close to the Salem bus stand makes getting around easier, and the staff were friendly. The street itself felt quiet and somewhat isolated, with few people around. Inside, the rooms felt old-fashioned and the beds were hard. The bathroom smelled bad and wasn't very clean; the towel was dirty, and the sheets didn't look much cleaner. There weren't many amenities, and there's no lift.

The main problem was having no lift, which could make luggage difficult to carry, especially for older guests. Otherwise, I found the stay comfortable: the rooms were clean, airy, and bright, with a nice view, and the staff were polite.

It's about a five-minute walk from the new bus stand, and there's parking for around five or six cars. The rooms and restrooms were well kept, and both the AC and fan worked properly. They have energy-saving Atomberg fans with remotes. I only see the lack of a lift as a drawback, particularly for older people. Otherwise, it's a nice budget stay.
