We couldn't bear staying here for more than a few hours. The mattress was dirty, the rooms were shabby, and there were cigarette bits scattered around. It was freezing, about 4°C inside, but there were no room heaters. When we asked for hot water, tea, coffee, or food, management didn't respond, even though we were willing to pay extra. The staff were rude and there was no hospitality at all. We got sick and had to rush home, and the whole Shillong trip became a nightmare. We were badly misled by the earlier positive reviews. After travelling around the world, we'd never had such a dreadful stay. This place shouldn't be open.
