Whenever I go to Shidhi again, I'd choose this hotel. The staff were cooperative and good, and they guided us and made arrangements so we could see more places. It was a good hotel.

It's near the maandir and costs less, but this isn't a decent place to stay. The washroom was horrible, and so were the bedsheets and pillow covers. They charge for early check-in, and the only free water is what they give you in their jug. Nobody at reception picks up the phone, and there are mosquitoes around.

Hotel Disha Palace was only about 300 meters from the temples, and getting to the local markets was easy. We had a really good stay in our three bed AC room. Although we got there around 10 AM, before the official noon check-in, the staff gave us the room without any hassle. Our room was on the second floor, and there's no lift. The staff offered to carry our large suitcase and took us up without us having to ask. We'd missed the hot water hours, but they thoughtfully brought us a kettle so we could boil water. They responded quickly when we had issues with the AC, too. The next day our train was delayed. They were flexible about us staying longer, and since we just needed to leave our suitcase, they happily stored it for us.

The location is the best thing here. The rooms are okay if you're not traveling with family, and there are very few amenities. Hot water is available only from 4am to 10 am.

The rooms were pretty clean and inexpensive, and the staff and service were good. I booked a non AC 3bed room through ixigo for just 750rs.
