We stayed for a day on the evening of 23rd Mar. The bathroom had a horrible rotten smell from the drains, and the towels were old, with their white color faded to off-white. Breakfast didn't start before 9:30am, but we needed an early one because we were going to darjeeling. There was no hot water and no electric kettle in the hotel. Simply terrible. I didn't complain much to management or service since it was only one night. Please avoid.

Our stay at Vinayak Hotel, booked through Goibibo, was disappointing and didn't feel worth the money. They charged ₹37 for a bottle of water, even though complimentary water had been mentioned. The room was just okay, nothing special, and the staff's behavior wasn't good.

The room had no AC working, and the fan wasn't working properly either. There was no electricity all night. We didn't even have basics like a dustbin or hand wash soap or liquid handwash, and the staff weren't friendly. Very bad service.

Staff were prompt, and breakfast was good. The hotel works well for a small function, but the rooms are very basic, so don't expect much. Cleaning was average, and there were no toiletries.

I used to think of Vinayak Inn as a second home and always chose it when visiting or travelling from Siliguri. This time I came with my mom and stayed in the same room we'd booked before. It was too hot, so I asked to change rooms in the evening. The front desk executive was unprofessional and blunt to the point of rudeness. He wasn't welcoming or customer-friendly, and didn't even manage a simple smile. He told me, “Take whatever feedback you want from me. If you want to take it negative, that’s fine.” The stay had been good, but now I'll have to think about coming back. That person's unprofessional behavior ruined the feeling of a second home.
