Hotel Niladrii Galaxy

We only found out after checking out that one of my two friends had left his shoe bag in the room. We told the staff straight away, but they initially denied finding it and were rude to us. They checked the CCTV after we asked several times. It showed the bag at check-in, but not at checkout. Even then, they wouldn't take responsibility or offer proper help. A really disappointing way to handle a guest's problem.

The bathroom was okay, and the location was alright, but the room wasn't very clean and had a smoky smell. We got just one blanket for a double room. When I asked for another, staff said they didn't have any, though they eventually brought one after I insisted. The staff weren't especially good.

The hotel is under 2 km from Tenzing Norgay bus stand, though getting there on foot with luggage isn't practical. The map points to a nearby market beside the hotel, but there's another road that also leads to it. Good place.

A personal item went missing after checkout during our group's stay, and the hotel never gave us a proper resolution. CCTV was available, but the staff kept denying the problem, behaved badly, and avoided taking responsibility. That kind of treatment is unacceptable in hospitality. Be careful with your valuables here.
